anXavier Mauconduit began studying music at the age of 7 years, first with the classical guitar he forsake fairly quickly in favor of the trumpet. It incorporates parallel the children's choir at his school of music with which he sings as a soloist in several concerts and operas for children.He started learning classical singing at the age of 15 years with the mezzo-soprano Florence Rousselle in Amiens where he did a Bachelor Literary music option.

At 21, he joined the National Conservatory of Music and Dance in Paris in the class of Gerda Hartman. He worked with teachers like Claude Lavoix, Mark Davis, Olivier Dauriat, Philippe Bernold, Chantal Buchy, Emmanuelle Cordoliani and follows masterclass Yvonne Minton and Malcolm King. Xavier Mauconduit gets its price with highest honors in June 2008.

It was noticed in October 2007 to the 4th International Competition of French Melody of Toulouse by getting the first price of interpretation. He returned to Toulouse in September 2010 for the 48th International Vocal Competition at the Capitol Theatre which he released finalist.

In opera, he has played roles as Borsa in Verdi's Rigoletto (Mélanie Thiebaut dm / ms Francis Perrin), Doctor Caius in Verdi's Falstaff with Opera de Metz (dm Gian Rosario Presuti / ms Jean-Louis Grinda) Nemorino in Donizetti's Elixir of Love with Co Star of the Day, Lo Speziale Mengone in Haydn (dm-Claude Andree Brayer / Anne-Marie Lazarini ms) at the Theatre artistic Athévains, Gernando in Isola disabitata Haydn with The Pocket Opera Co. or Horace in Gounod's La Colombe (dm Catherine Puig / ms Guignolet Florence).

Very attracted to Baroque music, he is a member since 2005 of the early music ensemble opalescence with which he plays the evangelist St. John Passion of Bach, Buxtehude Membra Jesu nostro, the French cantatas of Absence Bernier, Pan and Syrinx Montéclair Clérambault and Orpheus. Still with all opalescence but vocal quartet sings the Missa Pange Lingua by Josquin Desprez motets and the same composer.

In December 2009 Xavier Mauconduit had the privilege to play opposite Edita Gruberova in the finale of Donizetti's Roberto Devereux at his concert event at the Theatre des Champs Elysees, under the baton of Friedrich Haider.
